I recommend this book to everybody but I don’t think anyone has actually read it. I GET IT. The title is a little lame. The cover isn’t sexy. YES this is the same John Green who wrote The Fault In Our Stars, not just some random white guy with the same name.
Even the concept might be a little off putting. Who wants to read a whole chapter about Kentucky Bluegrass? Nobody cares.
But by the end of the chapter, you care!!
The way John Green finds meaning in the most mundane things is beautiful to witness. He has a skill for connecting the dots between seemingly unrelated things. But he’s not connecting dots for the sake of it, he’s offering the audience a new perspective.
